Our simple walk downtown for breakfast turned into an all day affair. We grabbed breakfast at Bijou Café, did some shopping in the Pearl, and then headed up to NW 25th and Thurman to check out a modern furniture store. A stop at St. Honoré Boulangerie presented us with a scrumptious croissant and the most fabulous loaf of freshly baked bread ever. After an 8-hour day of perusing the city streets, we returned home to shower, kick up our feet, and devour a plate of pasta. Beauty the wonder dog collapsed in our bathroom and quickly fell into a deep, deep slumber.
