When Jess moved from L.A. to Vancouver, we had no excuse not to hook up from time to time. A six hour drive isn’t as daunting as it sounds, especially if you’ve got a cell phone so you can gossip with your sister or a book on tape, to keep the brain occupied. Jess was a fabulous host - we hit Robson (a must), went to Granville Island, shopped, ate, and drank. Next time, she’s coming to Portland.
