We hit the road in Sophie to go on a mini-holiday to celebrate our first anniversary. Our weekend started with an overnight stay at the Columbia Gorge Hotel. We left the following morning and eventually found our way to a campsite along the Deschutes River. It was hot. Damn hot. And didn’t get even remotely comfortable temperature-wise until the sun went down. The next day we drove to Bend for a fantastic breakfast before heading home.
