I think we might be establishing a road trip tradition as this is the second time we’ve motored away from Portland in Sophie to celebrate our anniversary. This year, we left Friday night for Seattle, where we walked along the waterfront and checked out some cool furniture shops a short distance away from our hotel room. Saturday afternoon we continued further north - our destination: Robson Street in downtown Vancouver, B.C. for shopping. I really wanted to hit the Roots Kids store so we could pick up something for the Resident Alien - and we found some great stuff (look for the R.A. to be quite fashionable when he hits the six month size).
