We went pumpkin hunting at the island the weekend before Halloween but the crowds weren’t nearly as bad as folks told us they would be. We left with a very small pumpkin for Henry and some fruits and vegetables from the farm for dinner. About a week later, we headed out to Newberg to celebrate Halloween with Miss Amels. Henry didn’t even seem to mind the hat we had him wear with his pumpkin costume. Miss Amels, though, was very happy to be released from her bee costume, which she wore for about five minutes before her parents freed her.
