In the days of my crazy youth, I got this idea into my head that I should travel to San Francisco, wake up early the next morning, and complete a half-marathon (approx. 13 miles) so that’s what I did. The Ghiradelli chocolate distributed halfway through the course was worth the wait, as was the adorable Finisher’s Necklace from Tiffany’s.
